Dr. Mehmood Butt is a UK-trained Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at King's College Hospital Dubai, Professor of Cardiology at Gulf Medical University and Clinical Professor of Preventive Cardiology at the University of South Wales.
He received postgraduate training in Birmingham, South Wales and Oxford, and is certified by the General Medical Council in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology. With nearly 25 years of experience in cardiac disease management, he has worked at world-renowned hospitals including John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and University Hospital Wales in Cardiff.
He has performed thousands of heart procedures and has a special interest in treating patients with multiple blockages, severe calcification of coronary arteries, patients seeking stent options, and patients considered high-risk for cardiac surgery.
